Vocational Training and Support
We recognize the interconnections between mental health and social-economic factors as social determinants to mental stress. That’s why at Wezesha, we integrate social-economic support programs into our mental health services. We work with our clients to identify their entrepreneural or career interests, then support them to embark on an initiative of their choice. Offering vocational training and support ensures the fundamental needs of our clients and the community at large are met. This approach improves the overall well-being and resilience against mental health challenges. Below are some of our initiatives.
Program Initiatives
Bee Keeping: Beekeeping is a sustainable and profitable enterprise that has many benefits for our clients and the community at large. It contributes to sustainable development by providing a source of income, while improving crop production and diversity, thus promoting environmental conservation. We support our clients to initiate beekeeping projects which has the potential to transform their lives and those of their families by providing them with an additional source of income and improving their economic status.
Fish farming and processing:Aquaculture can be practiced year-round and supports resilient working conditions while providing sustainable economic growth. By supporting this initiative, we promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth, employment and decent work for all.
